In Visual Paradigm Suite 3.3, the name of the Undo action and Redo action are shown in the menu for referring the previous action. This article shows the enhancement on the Undo/Redo action.
In previous versions of VP products, it only shows the words Undo and Redo without any names or descriptions of the action. In fact, Undo and Redo are easy and fast ways to cancel or restore the actions we've done in the project, but it's somehow inconvenient to rely on our own memories of the actions done. Therefore, we enhanced the tools to have the actions name in Undo and Redo options in VP Suite 3.3. Below we will show you the enhancement regarding to Undo and Redo options. UndoHere we have a Use Case Diagram. The last step we have done is creating a use case model "Check Balance", we are going to undo this step:
There are three ways to perform Undo: Press Ctrl + Z in the active diagram. Select Edit > Undo %Name of Action% in the menu bar, and the action name is shown in the tooltip.
Now the use case"Check Balance" is canceled from the diagram.
RedoThe steps above we performed Undo on creating the use case "Check Balance", now we are going to restore "Check Balance" in the diagram - we can perform Redo. If we want to restore the actions, we can Redo it by one of the following three ways: Press Ctrl + Y in the active diagram. Select Edit > Redo %Name of Action% in the menu bar, and the action name is shown in the tooltip.
Click the Redo icon on the toolbar.
Now the use case "Check Balance" is restored on the diagram.
