Organizations often involve more than one work groups and access control for floating license key is to avoid for acquiring excessive access of license keys by a group. Consider if group A and B both acquire licenses from the same license server, group A may use up all the keys, leaving no available license for group B, when there is no control.
The Floating License Server Administration tool provides full access control to the number of floating licenses you had purchased. The access control function prevent the licenses from unauthorized access. With this protection, user acquires license key must be supplied an access issued by the administrator who can define difference access codes for different team, the problem of acquiring excessive license can now be solved. Defining Access Codes for License Keys In the floating license server folder, start the Administrator tool by running LicenseServerAdministration. Note that the server must be started first. 
In the License Server Administration dialog box, choose the keys to define access code. Press the Shift button to make multiple selections. 
Enter the access code. Make sure only the authorized users know the code. 
- Define access code for the other keys. Again, make sure only the authorized users know the key.

- Press the Apply button to make the changes take effect.
Acquiring Floating License from Client ProductStart the client product. If start without a valid key, the License Key Manager appears. Otherwise, open the License Key Manager by selecting Tools > Key Manager from the main menu. 
Configure the floating license key by selecting License Keys > Floating License > Configure from the menu. 
- From the dialog appeared, specify the connection information. Remember to supply an access code that matches the license key.

- Close the dialog and the License Key Manager to start the product.
